The Dual Onboard System (DOB) combines the two main Schertler technologies, the electrostatic under-saddle transducer (BLUESTiCK®) and the electro-dynamic transducer (DYN). It includes all the features necessary for producing great sound: Volume, treble, mid and bass controls, battery check and a potentiometer that is used to adjust the blend between the BLUESTiCK® and the D-DYN.

The BLUESTiCK®, in combination with the new custom made D-Dyn, enables the player to create a wide variety of tones. Either pickup may be selected alone, or a blend of the two may be created.
