The patented Schertler STAT-C electrostatic bridge pickup stands out for its high feedback resistance and for delivering an impressive bridge tone without the harshness or distortion of piezo pickups. STAT-C delivers wonderful, rich lows and smooth, clear trebles, and works perfectly with signal processors and effects thanks to its strong, solid signal.

The STAT-C is the choice for the cellist in a modern and loud musical environment. The standard STAT-C Set includes pickup, cable and the battery-powered STAT-PRE preamplifier with volume control. The STAT-C Select includes the sophisticated PRE-A-II preamplifier with tone controls and a regulated power supply.
Amplification may be managed by any amp or with a full-range amplifier system such as for example the Schertler PUB 280 and 380 active loudspeakers with bass extension.
