| 5.1.0. GENERAL INFORMATION
5.1.1.SCHERTLER
amplifiers are specially made for acoustic instrument
and vocal amplification, they are also matching perfectly
for wind instruments, keyboards and as small PA solutions.
5.1.2. Yes, the flat frequency response,
various input sensitivity options, and the high-end
shelving EQ allows the user to have a wide range of
sound selections and to adapt the amplifier to his/her
needs.
5.1.3. “The Ultimate Reverb”
is designed and engineered to provide unequalled performance.
It employs new circuit technology. The reverb tank is
shielded to reduce noise from stray magnetic fields.
The spring reverb uses only the finest components to
obtain the highest quality reproduction. The spring
is driven by a pure class-A (constant current) circuit
and captured by a balanced microphone preamp.
5.1.4. Yes, we have a special cable
called “Active
Driver Cable” that works as a buffer for high-impedance
sources such as passive piezos. The only thing you have
to do is connect the cable to the amplifier’s
STAT Channel (Unico or David) and engage the 10V phantom
power switch.
5.1.5. Schertler’s UNI-PED,
connected via the amplifier’s Insert jack, allows
remote control of Master Volume.
5.1.6. No. Many of our customers use
UNICO
and DAVID
for other pickups and vocal microphones.
5.1.7. Just fine! The Flat frequency
response and the big headroom make the performance sound
great!
5.1.8. Well, many other brands of acoustic
amplifiers are engineered around piezo technology. Schertler
builds amplifiers around electrostatic and dynamic microphone
technology. This makes SCHERTLER amps more warm, clear
and accurate.
