Renato Gattone


Renato Gattore was born in Altino (Chieti) and lives in Rome. Approaches to music at age 8 with a popular instrument which is the Accordion, through which he began studying classical music and popular European tradition. Fascinated by the world of stringed instruments, mature his interest in the electric bass before moving to double bass, thanks to listening to great jazz masters. In the capital he studied with pianist Luca Mannutza and begins an intense activity in the Romans jazz clubs, of the peninsula, in Europe and the USA

Attend some television and radio programs including Domenica in (Rai 1), Tg2 punto it (Rai 2), Unomattina estate (Rai 1), Staiserena (Radio 2 Rai), Webnotte Repubblica tv. Tra le numerose pubblicazioni discografiche figurano anche quelle cinematografiche, come La casa sulle nuvole (2009) di Claudio Giovannesi, Warner/Chappel – RAI Cinema e Buoni a nulla (Cinik Records, 2014) di Gianni Di Gregorio, BI.BI.Film, RAI Cinema.
